Grants Compliance Analyst

Charlene Riley serves as the Grants Compliance Analyst for the Bay Area Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI). In this role, she supports the administration of grant applications and awards from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and other federal and state programs, ensuring that city and county recipients throughout the Bay Area comply with all program requirements and provisions of UASI grants.

Before joining UASI, Charlene spent 17 impactful years at Stanford Health Care, where she thrived as a Committee Coordinator and Project Manager in Medical Staff Services. Her public service roots run deep, having also served with the City of Santa Clara, where she led a team of clerical staff and championed efficiency as a supervising Office Specialist.

Charlene holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix and an MBA from California State University, East Bay.
